SHIP STEERING STATION

Circa 1930’s steering station made by Drake Engine Company of Grand Haven Michigan, serial # 75997.  Made completely of heavy brass including the wheel which measures 42″ in diameter, weight 160 pounds.  It has 6 spokes, with the “King Spoke” identified with multiple reeded bands in the handle.  Entire station stands 51″ tall to the top of the wheel.  The pedestal measures 35″ tall with base.
